To enhance the performance of the tool head, the nozzle is capable of heating up to 370°C for high temperature printing. The second generation 80W bimetal heater significantly improves filament handling. In addition, the 400W active heating chamber design, combined with an air circulation system and a powerful turbo fan, ensures uniform temperature distribution within the chamber.
The drive system has been completely modernized and upgraded. Two independent motors, 10 mm diameter linear shafts and screws, and a 6 mm thick aluminum base not only improve stability, but also enhance print accuracy. The latest version of Klipper 0.12, as open source software, brings new user interfaces and features that can be activated and controlled on a wide range of devices.
Upgrades to the tool head include a hotbed temperature of 100°C, a nozzle temperature of 360°C and a chamber temperature of 55°C, which is particularly suitable for industrial grade PPS-CF filaments. The hardened tips of the multi-metal composite nozzles are not only wear-resistant, but also handle high-temperature filaments with ease, reducing the risk of clogging and leakage, while ease of mounting and dismounting simplifies filament cleaning and clogging.
The integrated design of the nozzles and separate hot end fans further optimize cooling through multi-directional airflow. A new generation of ventilation system allows each layer to print more perfectly with a smoother surface, while supporting higher print temperatures and improved interlayer bond strength.
Updates to the drive system also include double-layer insulation and air circulation design, two independent motors and 10 mm linear shafts and screws to ensure greater precision. A comprehensive filament detection system detects filament leaks and tangles, effectively preventing print interruptions.
The build area extends to 305x305x280 mm and the 6 mm heated stage provides industrial-grade Z-axis stability. The new system also features a 5-inch HD screen and the latest Klipper v.12 version for enhanced open source compatibility and scalability.
Compatibility with the QIDI Box and an automated multi-filament feeder box, available in the first quarter of 2025, further enhances the convenience of multi-color printing. With wired or wireless connectivity, users can monitor and manage remotely from any device, with a 1080p camera and time-lapse capabilities, making model sharing and remote monitoring even easier.
Finally, QIDI Studio's new slicing software, with its wide range of compatibility, is ideal for multi-color systems, ensuring greater efficiency and excellence in every step of the process, from design to print.
